It's Time for a Watch! (and Calendar)

Dear Parents,
Due to the fact that the students in Room#6 are working hard on learning how to tell time and the passage of time, it would be a good time for students to get and use a calendar and an analog watch (with hands) meaningfully at home and in their daily life. There are usually various types of calendars available at most dollar stores and decent watches (with big and clear numbers) can be found for as low as $10.00 at places like Walmart Shopper's Drugmart or Canadian Tire. Although getting either of these items is not manditory, they would likely help motivate students to use and practise these useful life skills on a regular basis.

Also, please encourage your child to also practise some of the time related links available on this blog. Doing so will also help to strengthen and/or solidify your child's understanding of time.

Sincerely,
Ms. J. Bednarz
